About the Role
Kiwi Research Private Limited is in search of a dynamic Video Editor Intern with a creative vision to complete diverse projects for various social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
Requirements
Possession of a laptop and stable internet connection is a must
Should be available for the next 2-6 months
Proven video editing experience is a plus. However, freshers who are willing to learn and grow under the mentorship of an industry professional can also apply.
Effective communication skills.
Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve etc…
Should have basic knowledge in using Adobe Suite for creating graphics like thumbnails, gifs, and social media posts.
Should have basic knowledge of using After Effects templates or their equivalent.
Should be able to work methodically and meet deadlines.

Manipulate and edit video pieces in a way that brings visible value to the audience.
Take a brief to grasp the creative team’s needs and specifications.
Review shooting script and raw materials to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to the community.
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
Create rough and final cuts in line with platform specifications.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Take initiative in discovering interesting formats of presenting video content on social media.
Monitor trends in the video editing industry so that they are aware of new techniques and technologies.
Demonstrate success by editing videos with a diverse range of styles.
